The Docket for Vehicle Trial Magistrates consists of a single logbook documenting the motor vehicle cases in Worcester County, Maryland from 1939 to 1941. There are a few loose papers inside the docket related to the vehicle trials as well.
This docket was provided to the Worcester County vehicle magistrates by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles of the State of Maryland, who at the time was W. Lee Elgin. This book allowed the magistrates to record all motor vehicle related cases, including information such as the date, parties involved, verdict, fine or punishment, and any other details that needed to be recorded. Also included is an index to be able to search by last name.
This collection documents motor vehicle related cases in Worcester County, Maryland. As there is only one item, it is not separated into series.
