Abstract

The Worcester County Farm Bureau Collection consists of materials covering the history and events of the Worcester County Farm Bureau. All the records listed are from the mid to late 20th century, and consist of scrapbooks, correspondence, and newspaper articles.

Administrative History / Biographical Note

The Worcester County Farm Bureau is a part of the Maryland Farm Bureau, an organization that aims to increase farm profits and improve farmer life by providing legislative access to members as well as connecting members with businesses and suppliers offering discounts on products and services.

Scope and Content Note

This collection documents the activities, membership, and publications of the Worcester County Farm Bureau.

Series I: Scrapbooks: These scrapbooks document events in the history of the Farm Bureau

Series II: Newspaper Clippings: Documents concerning external reports of the Farm Bureau and its activities.

Series III: Correspondence: Documents concerning correspondence with various organizations.
